News | Four more Covid-19 cases detected en route to Langkawi
PETALING JAYA: Four individuals tested positive for Covid-19 when they were screened prior to entering Langkawi, the country’s first tourism green bubble which opened up to visitors yesterday.
One each was detected at the Subang airport and the Penang International Airport, health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said in a tweet today. The remaining two were detected prior to boarding a ferry from Kuala Perlis.
The four were among 3,454 travellers who had been screened for the virus.
