Ceasefire between Israel, Hamas comes into force

JERUSALEM: A highly anticipated ceasefire between Israel and the Hamas militants who run the Palestinian Gaza Strip officially came into force early on Friday (May 21) at 2am (7am, Malaysia time). Today In History: Bomb blast in KL injures eight

19 October 1973, Kuala Lumpur: A bomb explosion outside the Lincoln Cultural Centre injured seven city council workers and a passer-by. Police believed the bomb was planted among vegetables in a plastic pail outside the centre minutes before it exploded.
