KL’s historical road of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman

Today, let us visit Kuala Lumpur’s Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (Jalan TAR) via the 1968 map (pix below). Jalan TAR was originally called Batu Road. It was so named because it began as a track leading to Batu where there was a village, limestone caves and tin mines. The road is now named after the nation’s first Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
